I led the evolution of Takis’ social presence (mostly TikTok and Instagram), transforming it from supporting channels into core drivers of brand relevance and cultural engagement.


The focus was simple: build a social ecosystem that didn’t just show up in feeds, but actually belonged there. That meant creating platform-native content, leaning into internet culture, and developing ideas designed to be shared, remixed, and participated in.


When Takis joined TikTok in 2020, we quickly established the brand as a category leader on the platform—reaching over 1 million followers in just seven months. At the time, that surpassed the combined following of key competitors including Doritos, Cheetos, and Fritos, despite their earlier presence on the platform.


Across channels, the work helped position Takis as a culturally relevant, social-first brand—one that could compete not just in shelf space, but in attention.
